The title for this site comes from the fact that I am not a preacher, a scholar nor a writer - I am a computer programmer for Alcatel USA, Inc. which had nothing to do with this web page. I have been working in the high-tech industry since 1971.

I have attended the Church of Christ all of my life. My parents and grandparents were also members of the Church of Christ. I was baptized into Christ on July 15, 1962 by Bro. Paul Nichols in Graham, Texas, where I was living at the time.

My wife (the former Laura Hyde of Plainview and Wichita Falls, Texas) and I were married in 1970 in Wichita Falls, Texas. We have been blessed in too many ways to count, but especially by our four children: Leah, Andy, Bryant, and Rachel.

We currently live in Arlington, Texas, with our youngest child.
